Piccadilly Line strike is called off

The planned 4 day strike by Piccadilly Line drivers has been called off today.

The walk out was expect to start from 21:00 BST until 01:00 on Saturday over staffing and working conditions, in last-minute talks at conciliation service ACAS have seen the industrial action suspended.

If the Strike went ahead it would have cause major disruptions to the travelers planning to watch the England vs Croatia  World Cup Semi- Final match at Hyde Park tonight, some 30,000 people are expected attend.

The Piccadilly Line is one of the busiest underground services in London with half a million passengers’ days and the main link to Heathrow airport, the strike is expect to cause major disruptions not only to the daily commuters but the expect half million people expect to partake in the protects on Donald Trump’s UK visit.
