Alevi Friendship Group established in European Parliament

AN Alevi Friendship Group has been established in the European Parliament. The British Alevi Federation has been putting great effort to publicize the voice of every Alevi platform for many years, hence it has recently announced the gospel of establishing the Alevi Friendship Group in the European Parliament.

In the press released which was shared by the British Alevi Federation, it was stated:

“After many collaborations with Sub Dance MEP and Austrian MEP Claude Moares, we have received much support from other MEP and we are proud to announce that we have finally established such an approach. Alevi’s will now be able to participate in the European Parliament and report their views to the working groups on various issues.

There are nearly 300 Alevi Cultural Centres throughout the European Union and it is estimated that there are one and a half million Alevi’s in Europe. The British Alawi Federation directors and members also supported the event by participating in the event.
