National View Committee of the Islamic Community hosted an iftar

DIFFERENT representatives of religion and society came together at the iftar hosted by National View (Milli Görüş). The Ramadan iftar organised by the National View Committee of the Islamic Community (ICMG) brought together many representatives of different religions in the UK.

The iftar meal led by the ICMG regional chairman Ubeyde Bilaloğlu and ICMG UK staff took place at Grand Palace located in Woodgreen.

The event started with the reading of the Quran and a video was presented showing the activities accomplished in Europe. Following the greeting of Ubeyde Bilaloğlu’s Chairman of ICMG UK Region, Lord Sheikh made a speech about Fethi and Fatih Sultan Mehmet of Istanbul.

Following Lord Sheikh, Hasene President Mesut Gulbahar spoke about the activities of their institutions.

After the speech of Gülbahar, the representative of the UK Albanian Muslim Community and Cultural Center, Zymer Salihi, was emphasized about the wisdom of the month of Ramadan.The iftar program ended with a prayer by, Turkey’s Religious Services Counsel and England London Turkish Religious Foundation President Mahmut Özdemir.
