THE second of the London Turkish Theatre Festival will begin next. The festival is expect to show case a number of beautiful shows and art workshops were the art lovers will be able to meet together. The London Turkish Theatre Festival will take place at the Millfield Art Centre in Edmonton on April 27-29.
The Festival will consist of 7 performances, 7 workshops and a music concert and will be presented with the opportunity to participate in dialogues and panels which will be held by famous actors and actresses. The opening reception of the festival, which will start with a workshop on Friday, April 27, will be held on the same day evening. The reception will be attended by master names Cezmi Baskın, Rutkay Aziz, Meltem Cumbul, Tamer Levent, Mufit Can Sacıntı, Turhan Yılmaz Ogut, Fusun Demirel, Kemal Basar, Belgin Bilgin, Savas Ozdemir, Galip Erdal, Eda Kandulu and Ozgun Ugurlu.
The program schedule for the three-day festival is as follows: The rhythm workshop for the 0-3 year old group on Friday, April 27 at 11:30, the inner workshop with Kemal Basar and Shakespeare at 12.30, the writing workshop with Tamer Levent at 13:30, the opening reception at 17.00 and the interview with the artists, Behind the musical play, music concert of Kemal Basar and Ozgun Ugurlu at 22.00.
Hero children’s play at 11.00 on Saturday, April 28, Children’s art workshop at 12.00, Meltem Cumbul’s workshop to be performed by Eric Morris system at 13.00, Theatrical play People who don’t whole back their words at 15:00 , Conversation with Rutkay Aziz at 17.00, at 20.00 the play They will come for tea tonight.
On April 29th Sunday at 11:30 am, children play Cute Farm; at 15.00 I love you man comedy show, at 17.00 Cezmi Baskın theatre workshops, at 20.00 Love Lessons theatre play.
The London Turkish Theatre Festival is organised by actor, play writer Saray Karakus (right) and music festival organiser Umit Baysal. The first step for the unification of the dual power of art of Turkey and the United Kingdom throwing Turkish Theatre Festival organised back in May 2017 in London.
