Allies consent need for response to Syria ‘chemical attack’

PRIME Minister Theresa May has agreed with US and French allies that that international actors must react to and alleged chemical attack in Syria.

Theresa May, Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron stated that those liable should be “held to account”.

Donald Trump has warned alerted Russia to be prepared for missiles being fired at its ally Syria.

However Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn notified that bombing could escalate the situation.

Corbyn stated that the Parliament “should always be given a say on any military action. We don’t want bombardment which leads to escalation and a hot war between the US and Russia over the skies of Syria.”

Medical sources said hundreds of people were killed, including children, during the chemical bombing of formerly rebel-held town of Douma, in Eastern Ghourta region.

Downing Street announced that separate phone calls to presidents Trump and Macron establish the countries will collaborate to take action to “uphold the worldwide prohibition on the use of chemical weapons”.

A spokesman’s stated the leaders concurred the reported attacks were “utterly reprehensible” and whether confirmed, “represented further evidence of the Assad regimes appalling cruelty against its own people and total disregard for its legal obligations no to use these weapons.”
