Preparations for the hopeful festival has begun

THE preparations for the 29th Day-Mer Culture and Arts festival to be held year has started.

Within the Turkish speaking community festivals, Day-Mer’s Culture and Arts festival has been taking place for the past 28 years. This festival fulfils a very important mission for the Turkish speaking society to provide native integration with the collective society.

Day-Mer has illustrated the significance to avoiding stereotypes and uniting together against common problems and working together for organising such festivals which value the importance of art.

In the statement published by Dar-Mer, it was noted:

“We are in a situation where we are surrounded by wars, racial social disruptions, increase of violence towards women, darkened lives of young people and oppression. Our 29th festival aims to shadows all the negative aspects we have been experienced recently, our platform has been operating to diminish these dilemmas. We believe that our culture and arts festival will be the fresh air that enters our windows from the window opened to distribute this dirty poisonous air created by the sovereign’s ointment, the sovereigns.

In this context, we invite the intellectuals and artists living in England, especially the press, to participate in our festival, which we have started to prepare, to contribute to the programs with ideas.”
