2018 will bring “renewed confidence and pride” to Britain

The Prime Minister, Theresa May has announced that 2018 will bring “renewed confidence and pride” to Britain.

May has clarified that Brexit will still be at the forefront of important issues in 2018. However, this is not the only goal of the government and it will be a year of progress. They are aiming to change the lives of ordinary people by investing in the education and health system.

May notes that they would take further actions to approach their goal of “a stronger and more just society”.

After a difficult year which saw her decision to call a sudden early general election backfire notably, Mrs. May acknowledged that “the real test is not whether challenges come; it’s how you face them”.
