ISTANBUL Meets London II organized at the 5th Base Gallery, curated and organized by Zeynep Ober, a successful fashion and art consultant in LONDON.
Diplomatic representatives of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, members of the Arab Royal Family, fashion artists, representatives of art magazines, bloggers, foundations and representatives of associations attended the event.
The second exhibition that took place on Sunday, November 5, 2017, exhibited works of eight painters, sculptors and mosaic artists living in Turkey and England. Ten different artistic styles, perspectives and sentiments were exhibited in the exhibition, attended by artists named Akın Ekici, Ayla Çıtak, Ayşegül Coles, Gülay Yüksel, Mehmet Hakan Demirok, Metin Güçlü, Patrick Faure, Renk Erbil Martin, Saba Çağlar Güneyli and Renin Zeynep Şimşek Introduced in London, one of the most important city in the world, the exhibition presents Turkey’s cultural riches and artistic projects.
In the opening reception of the exhibition, flute artist Kozza Unal and violinist Laurance Wheatley living in London offered a unique music concert. Zeynep Ober gave thanks to her sponsors for their support. Thanks to the participants in the event, Ober gave information about the project.
