Example behaviour from London KKTC representative

NURSEL Öztekin initiated the “A pinch of hair” campaign for the benefit of Cyprus Cancer Patients Assistance Association, supported by Ülkü Alemdar’s daughter Ceyda Alemdar from the KKTC London Representative.Ceyda Alemdar has demonstrated an exemplary behaviour by donating her hair, which she has been prolonged for 4 years with great care, to cancer patients, to make wigs from real hair.

The hair donation campaign organized in TRNC London Representation, Miss Zehra Başaran, representative of the KKTC London Representative, the London Assistance Charter, the campaign attended by many associations and press, received intense interest.Ceyda Alemdar, who demonstrated exemplary behaviour by forgiving her hair, said about the exemplary behaviour she made: “I thought I would give cancer patients some support. That’s why I wanted to make a comeback. I planned to extend my hair and give it to a cancer patient. That’s why I want to give my hair that I have lengthened for 4 years to a broken hair due to chemotherapy. This may be a small help, but you will grow up shortly with the support of media organizations, associations and schools. I hope this behaviour creates awareness and everyone will be reminded that something can be done in this matter.”

KKTC London Representative Zehra Başaran, praised by Ceyda’s actions, said: “Today we are gathered here for the exemplary behaviour of our little daughter. In this regard, we, as the KKTC Representation, have never given up the support we have given up to now and will continue to give at any time. I congratulate the family because of this beautiful behaviour, first of all Ceyda, then her family for raising up such a valuable child. I would like to thank all the associations and members of the press today.”
