The overall picture is excellent with Enfield ‘A’ level results improving on last year. The pass rate for Enfield this year (98.2%) exceeds the national pass rate (97.9%) and improves on the 2016 Enfield pass rate of 98%.
This year six Enfield schools (584 student) had 100% pass rate compared with only three last year (129 students).
These six school are:-
- Chace Community School
- Enfield County School
- Edmonton County School (Academy)
- The Latymer School
- St Anne’s Catholic High school for Girls
- St Ignatius College
96% of students that took a Level 3 vocational qualification in Enfield achieved a Merit or better.

borough has some outstanding schools and the results are testament to the excellence in education in Enfield. We strive for all children and adults to reach their potential through access to quality education, skills and learning.
“Enfield teachers have worked extremely hard to ensure that all students fulfil their potential for A Levels and other post 16 examinations. Congratulations to all of them and we wish them all the best as they choose their next path – be it university, college, an apprenticeship or straight into work.”
