Britain Alevi Federation on Dersim massacre

Britain Alevi Federation shared a press release, condemning Turkish Government for its recent deeds with regards to the Dersim massacre.

The press release follow statements as follows:

“We know you, you know better to burn!

Turkish Government AKP which burned Dersim will confront the public!

It can be seen from the discourse of Tunceli Mayor, that it was AKP itself who burned Dersim’s forests and it was indeed the government itself!

The Mayor follows a statement as: ‘The fire that happened in the regions of Merkez-Kutuderesi and Munzur Meadow-Balı Lake couldn’t have been interfered due to the ongoing operations and the neccessary actions will be taken in the wake of operations’

This statement is a proof that Dersim forests were intentionally burned by military forces – the many tortures, discrimination and more deeds were enhances by this fire.

…We won’t be bowing before AKP and its regime!”
