“Remembering and Dreaming” mesmerised Ireland

The concert “Remembering and Dreaming” in conjunction with Turkey’s Dublin Embassy, Turkish Airlines, Yunus Emre Instititue and London Turkish Embassy Culture and Presentation Office, the musical feast mesmerised Dublin with a taste of cultural heritage.

With Dr Murat Salim Tokat on Tanbur and Ney, Derya Türkan on classical Kemençe and Cenk Güray on Saz, the Dem Trio engaged with both Turkish speaking communities residing in Ireland and English speaking communities. Many other distinguished guests from different embasies were also present at the event.

The concert that was also air stramed from the national TV of Dublin RTE, the concert saw many genres from classical Turkish music such as Hüseyni, Hicaz, Rast and Nihavend.
