Turkish Cypriot agents expand into the multimillion pound commercial property business – but could still help sell your shop

A SOUTH LONDON estate agency says it wants to work with clients from the Turkish-speaking communities to help sell their property.
Eaton Green, with boasts Turkish Cypriots Osman Kannur and Mete Enver among its partnership, has been growing fast since it was founded in 2008, having added offices in Sydenham and Waterloo to its original base in Camberwell.
It now wants to work with Turkish business leaders in London and beyond to help sell their existing properties and finding new premises.
DELIVERY, NOT GROWTH
With the addition of James Stefanopoulos to the team, the firm is now fully established in the commercial property business – a business that ranges from the sale of small corner shops to multimillion-pound deals.
But Mr Kannur insists the firm is not intent on empire building.
“I’d like to promise on our delivery, not on our growth. We don’t want to be just another flashy firm,” he says.
Indeed, Mr Enver says the firm’s size and independence is one of its strengths: “It means that you’re not dealing with corporate red tape – clients can always get us on the phone, 24/7.
“We are small enough to care but big enough to deal with enquiries.”

MULTIPLE WEB PARTNERS
For residential business, Eaton Green has partnerships in place with websites popularly known in the community – like Rightmove.co.uk and Zoopla.
In commercial sales and lettings, it works with a number of different online services: Each, ShopProperty and EG PropertyLink.
As Mr Stefanopoulos points out: “Sell your property through us and it goes on five different websites.”
NO SALE, NO FEE
Eaton Green firm offers an acquisition service that helps clients looking for business premises to find exactly the place they want.
It also offers the traditional sales guarantee for residential properties, meaning that the firm will not take a fee if there is no sale. But uniquely among its rivals, Eaton Green extends this “no sale, no fee” policy to commercial properties too.
“It is a risk on our part,” admits Mr Enver, “but it demonstrates our confidence in getting results.”
