The event, which was held in Dalston, was attended by primary and secondary school students as well as representatives from the local church.
Yaşar Demiralay, the head of the Alevi Cultural Centre, said during the event that they were working to introduce Alevism classes to all students in London, beginning with the Alevi pupils themselves.
