Turkish Cuisine to conquer Taste of London

Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism participates in Taste of London which takes place at Regent’s Park in London, one of the most popular and the greatest food, drink and summer festival as a destination partner between 15^th and 19^th June 2016.

During the festival, the visitors will have a chance to taste of many different delicious Turkish foods and join in the activities at Turkey Home tent at Regent’s Park. Complimentary Turkish dishes and desserts, which are the tastiest speciality of famous Turkish chefs will be offered to the visitors.

Turkish cuisine chefs Ali Cengiz and Tacim Yetis will have some food shows during the festival.

Ali Selcuk Can, the Attaché of Turkish Culture and Tourism in London states ‘The main aim of participating to this festival is to associate the image of Turkey in the minds of British people with distinctive,  flavourful and rich cuisine.’

British celebrity chef Ed Baines to cook Hunkar Begendi (Sultan’s Delight)

Celebrity chef Ed Baines will cook Hunkar Begendi, one of the traditional dishes of Turkey with a special show on the main stage of the festival on Thursday, the 16 June between 15.00-15.30.  The show will be broadcasted live on Facebook page of Turkey Home with 4.5m followers (https://www.facebook.com/TurkeyHomeOf/)

The visitors have a chance to win a holiday to Turkey

Also, one of the visitors who take a photo at the Instagram competition frame and shares it on Instagram with #TasteofLondon will win an all-inclusive holiday organised by @Turkey_Home to Antalya, Turkey for a family of max 4.

The festival is on for five days

The visitors joining the festival will have a chance to discover more than 40, the most recent, the most famous and the most exciting restaurants, to taste the most delicious dishes of the world, to join in the tastings of many different drinks and beverages, also to enjoy the shows and the live music.  The festive event’s programme can be found below:
