6th Alevi Festival took place at the Cambridge University

Many djemis all the way from Glasgow, Eastmidlands, Croydon, Bournemouth, Harrow, Nottingham, Doncaster, Sheffield, Hull, Edinburgh, Northamptoshire, York and Newcastle AKM contributed to the 6th Alevi festival’s opening ceremony.

British Alevi Federation, in their written statement, thanked to Mehmet Yüksel Dede,  Ali Dereli Dede, Hayri Ergişi Dede, Yazar Abbas Tan, Prof Dr Erol Parlak, Mustafa Kılçık (Vefai), Sanatçı Ali Sizer, Barış Baran, Dursun Can Çakın, Yılmaz Çakmak, Ali Polat, İsmail Eren, Seher Ağbaba, Kerim Hakko, Saffet Yürükel and Mehmet Aydoğmuş for their enduring contribution and trainings took place in organisations. The statement also thanked to British Alevi Federation’s Women branches.

At the event, where hundreds of people gathered together fort his festive environment had both fun and an educational journey through the services provided.
