Elderly Can Benefit from Day Care

 THE ELDERLY AND LESS ABLE can benefit from a specialist service provider at a community centre in North London.

Cypriot Elderly and Disabled Group (CEDG) is a five-day a week service which is aimed at the elderly and disabled in the local community. The service takes place from Monday- Friday at the Cypriot Community Centre in Wood Green, North London. The centre speaking to Londra Gazete explained what its service provides: “We support a variety of conditions including Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Strokes and people with Physical Mobility issues. We also provide a service for cares who simply wish to drop off  their loved ones for the day.”

Not only is it a day care service but there are also a variety of facilities and activities available to the individuals who would like to attend. They include: Personal Day Care, Transport adapted for Disabilities, Disabled Access & Facilities throughout, Tri-lingual services – English, Greek, Turkish, Activities including cultural Luncheon Club & Meals-on-Wheels,(including non-pork and diabetic menus).
