North Cyprus tourism promoted at Westfield Shopping Centre

The Deputy Prime Ministry of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, organized the “Westfield Shopping Centre 2023” promotional event in the UK from October 20 to 22, 2023, as part of their international tourism promotion and marketing efforts.

This event aimed to reach the desired numbers of tourists in the UK market after the pandemic and promote Northern Cyprus tourism. The event occurred at Westfield, one of London’s largest shopping centres. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, Fikri Ataoğlu, participated in the event, accompanied by Northern Cyprus’ London representative Çimen Keskin.

Osman Koray Ertaş, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in London, also attended the event and held consultations with Ataoğlu. Westfield Stratford City Shopping Centre hosts over 50 million visitors annually and includes more than 250 world-famous brand stores, 65 restaurants, various entertainment venues, and hotels.

The three-day event featured active promotional activities at the 60-square-meter booth. As part of the promotional activities, Northern Cyprus showcased its natural and cultural assets through handcrafts, visual and printed promotional materials, and local flavours.
