THE Turkish Cypriot Cultural Festival, which was first held in London in 2017 and has been held online for the past two years due to the pandemic, once again takes place at Donkey Lane in Enfield on Sunday, July 2nd.
The 6th Turkish Cypriot Cultural Festival will be attended by TRNC President Ersin Tatar and TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel. Organized by the Council of Turkish Cypriot Associations in the UK (CTCA), the festival will celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Turkish Cypriot community.
The festival aims to bring together famous artists, delicious traditional dishes, craft exhibitions, and folk dance performances, and promote our national, religious, and cultural values to both local and foreign guests. The festival will feature performances by artists such as Işın Karaca, Eylem, Ali Babutsa, Gazi Set, Memze, Hatıralar, Fadıl Topaloğlu, and many others. In a statement by CTCA, emphasis was placed on unity and solidarity, and the following statement was made: “We invite our entire community to our festival, which we organize as CTCA to uphold the Turkish Cypriot identity and strengthen the spirit of unity and togetherness. We come together to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Turkish Cypriot community. Additionally, the presence of important figures such as TRNC President Ersin Tatar and TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel will make this special day even more meaningful.

In the statement regarding the festival, it was mentioned that the proceeds from the event will be used to support associations that promote the roots and culture of the Turkish Cypriot community and the people affected by the earthquake in Turkey.
