ALONG with her success in international competitions, violinist Ezo Sarıcı, who is well-known to music lovers in London organized a recital with Junyan Chen, one of the young piano virtuosos with the processes being donated to a hospital.
The recital of the young duo was a unique presentation with a special repertoire they created with the works they chose from 20th-century French composers, in addition to combining the classical music education they received at an early age with folk music and jazz.
As part of The Live@StMark’s concert series, the recital was held at St Mark’s Church on Wednesday, 14 December, where those who attended were able to enjoy musical pieces from César Franck ‘ Beau Soir (Good Evening)and many more.
Born in 2002, Ezo Sarıcı was awarded the “Most Artistic Performance” award at the Lipizer International Violin Competition held in Italy last September, together with the first and second places winning in many international competitions, which was founded by the 60-person Apollo Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 17.
The Chinese pianist Junyan Chen, born in 2000, attracted attention with her virtuoso technique that he reached at a young age, carrying her warm and lively playing to the prestigious concert halls of China, Japan, Italy, the United Kingdom and Spain. He has worked with Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra and XinZhu Symphony Orchestra.
