The book “Zeynep 4 Generations”, about Zeynep Dikmen, who is known for her social work, and the 4 generations of women in her family, will be launched.
The presentation of the book, written by Zeynep Dikmen’s wife İlker Dikmen in the style of conversation, will be held in Cambridge on February 20 and at the Alevi Cultural Center-Cemevi (İAKM-CEMEVI) in London on March 5.
İlker Dikmen, who wrote and prepared “Zeynep” for publication, said: “As you all know, there is a saying, “Words fly, writing remains”. As it is said in the preface of the book, ‘Life is both too short and too long. It gets shorter as you keep quiet, and lengthens when you talk…’
“In this book, you will find the bitter and sweet memories of four women over four generations, embellished with their lives of struggle, perseverance and success. That’s all I tried to hold a mirror up to my share… There is neither bragging nor reproach here…”
Two events will be held in England, the first on Sunday, February 20, 14:00-16:00, at Storey’s Field Centre, Addington Avenue, Cambridge CB3 1AA and the second event in London on Saturday, March 5, 16.00-19.00, 19 Clarendon Road, London, N8 0DD
