Author and sociologist Semra Eren-Nijhar has prepared a project over the last year to investigate how quarantine has affected people from around the world. Her second study was taken over a year-long period looking at how each person evaluates their experience.
Eren-Nijhar, asked individuals living in other countries about their experiences, feelings, perceptions and thoughts in the quarantine days between the periods of March 2020 and June 2021 by limiting them to just three words, sheds light on the quarantine days experienced all over the world.
Among the sample countries selected within the scope of the project are Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Croatia, Sweden, Nigeria, Jordan and China.
With people of all ages as well as backgrounds, the second video includes artists, academics and business people, among them the president of the Chinese Poetry Academy.
