North Cyprus’ 33th year from its foundation was celebrated in London with a great joy and enthusiasm. Hosted by Northern Cyprus’ London Representaive Zehra Başaran, the reception was also joined by Turkish Republic’s London Ambassador Abdurrahman Bilgiç and his wife Sefire Esra Bilgiç along with many distinguished names from the Turkish speaking communities.

“CELEBRATING WITH HONOUR AND PRIDE”

Speaking at the reception, Zehra Başaran expressed her gratititude for being the Northern Cyprus’ representative in London by remarking the importance of the day. Expressing that Northern Cyprus was the aftermath of Cypriot Turkish people’s strife of freedom and existence, Ms Başaran highlighted the importance of Northern Cyprus soils.

“THE FUTURE OF OUR PEOPLE ARE SAFE AND SECURE”

Ms Başaran, carrying on her speech, said:

“Our primary duty is to carry on enduring with successes by not forgetting how much costst were paid to get back our freedom. Given our strong bonds with Turkey and the strong economic growth, our community’s future is safe and secure”
