Enfield came second place in this year’s prestigious ACES (the association of Chief Estates surveyors and Property Managers – Award for excellence in property management.
Enfield was recognised for its great work with providing people with temporary accommodation. Cllr Andrew Stafford, said “This is good news because it shows that our properties are well managed, we are saving taxpayer money and that we are being efficient. But we are not going to be resting on our Laurels and will continue to look for even more ways of saving and making money for years to come as we seek to mitigate the significant reductions in funding.”
“We are absolutely delighted to have received this prestigious award from ACES. I am particularly proud of how the Enfield council dealt so efficiently with the setting up of our Housing Gateway Team,” said Cllr Ahmet Oykener, Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Housing and Housing Regeneration.
