Moderated by Kürşad Akpınar, Director of Education Development Programs and Technology at the Defence Industry Academy, the panel featured accomplished engineers who had gained experience abroad before taking on key roles within Turkey’s top defence organizations. Onur Mustafaoğlu of ASELSAN discussed how his overseas engineering experience strengthened his contributions in the defence sector. Tevfik Can Uzun from TUSAŞ Engine Industries Inc. Şükran Şengül Ayalp of HEAŞ spoke about her role in airport management, emphasizing the importance of engineering in aviation infrastructure.
