“Hasan’ınan Gadinu” was written by Artun Gökşan Lurucinalı and Vasilis Panayis. The play explores the renewed encounters between Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots following the opening of the island’s political barriers in 2003. It delves into the historical wars, losses, shared cultural heritage, and hopes for the future. Through its narrative, the play offers a poignant and thought-provoking look at the relationships between the two communities.
The work presents the complex interactions between the two communities from past to present, framed in a humanistic light, offering both emotional and intellectual reflections for the audience.
