The Women’s Platform UK (WPUK), an active cultural and social organization based in London, is preparing to welcome one of the most celebrated voices in Turkish literature, Nermin Bezmen.
The acclaimed author will meet her readers at a special event on Saturday, April 26, where she will discuss her novel “Unutkan Aşk” (Forgetful Love)—a deeply moving story centered on Alzheimer’s disease and its emotional impact on families. Bezmen will also engage in a Q&A session and sign copies of her books.
Nilgün Yıldırım, President of WPUK and organizer of the event, shared her excitement: “Since 2008, we have proudly organized numerous cultural and artistic gatherings. We are thrilled to host the esteemed author Nermin Bezmen under the umbrella of our Book Club. Her work has touched a wide readership, and it is truly exciting for us to bring her together with literature enthusiasts here in London.”
The event will take place on Saturday, April 26, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Troy Hotel in the Queensway area. With this gathering, WPUK aims to celebrate both literature and women’s solidarity.
Attendees will not only enjoy an insightful conversation but also have the unique opportunity to meet Nermin Bezmen in person.
