THE Cyprus Turkish Cultural Festival, organized by the Council of Turkish Cypriot Associations in the UK (CTCA), is once again bringing its park festival celebrating the roots and culture of the Cyprus Turkish Community in Britain, just like every year. The festival aims to bring together our local and foreign guests, introducing them to our national, religious, and cultural values through surprise performances by artists, delicious traditional cuisine, craft exhibitions, folkloric shows, and creating unforgettable memories.
This year marks the sixth edition of the Cyprus Turkish Cultural Festival, which was successfully held online despite the pandemic. Now, on Sunday, July 2nd, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, the festival will take place at Donkey Lane, Enfield, EN1 3PL.
Numerous events featuring renowned artists will take place during the festival. Artists such as Işın Karaca, Eylem and other esteemed performers will grace the festival with their performances. In addition, as part of the Mid Summer Ball event, esteemed Turkish and foreign DJs such as Dj Ramsey, Havva, Dj Eren, Tony Perry, and many more will provide young people with an unforgettable music feast, playing English and Turkish music.
If you are wondering what the festival has to offer, there will be a special section dedicated to classic cars for car enthusiasts. Additionally, there will be a Luna Park, play areas for families with children, a donkey riding area, airplane shows, folklore dance performances by Turkish Language and Culture Schools, and a variety of activities and flavors ranging from handmade Lefkara crafts to peach kebabs. Moreover, lucky winners of the festival’s raffle will be delighted with surprising gifts, as well as prizes such as two round-trip tickets to Cyprus with Turkish Airlines for a holiday.
In a statement, the festival committee emphasized that the Cyprus Turkish Cultural Festival is the largest event held in Britain, with tens of thousands of people attending each year. They also expressed the happiness of foreign politicians in participating and being a part of our festival.
