MAKING a statement regarding the elections to be held on 14 May, the British Election Coordination said, “Our country will hold the most important election in its political history on 14 May. This election is a choice to choose whether it is a dark and isolated country, a country that looks to the future with hope, is compatible with the world, and where we can live together both inside and outside.”
The British Election Coordination has started Turkey’s presidential and parliamentary elections, which will be held on 14 May, and called on the people to vote.
In a statement read by Feyzullah Cinpolat they said: “…Our rank is clear today, as in the past, against the anti-democratic and lawless system. From this point of view, today is a period in which it is vital to tighten the ranks and increase the struggle. With the struggle we will put up and the solidarity we will show, we will wake up to the morning of May 15 with more hope.
“We see this, we increase the struggle by believing in it. Our people; hunger, poverty, unemployment, massacres, wars, prohibitions and captivity. They are killing us in earthquakes, fires, floods, construction sites, factories and streets. They kill and they try to tell us it’s destiny…”
Going on to say “This election heralds the days when we will realize our longing for a democratic, secular, equal, modern and law-abiding country that we will build together again. We will grow this struggle together…
“Our demand for an equal, free democratic, fair life. We will achieve this together. We believe that all our friends will stand by the Alliance for Labor and Freedom, with the belief that on the morning of May 15th, our country and people living abroad will take a deep breath and look at the future with more hope.”
