Kurdish Art Fair took place last weekend at the Stoke Newington library, by attracting a high volume of community interest. Exhibiting and celebrating the talent of Kurdish painters, photographers and musicians as well as others whose work reflects the Kurdish culture and identity, the fair attracted a high volume of interest from the community
At the fair, many artists from music to painting and decorative arts came together for one big “festive” arts experience. Amongst the artists, were Sevcan Yüksel Henshal, Sümer Erek, Şilan Keskin, Yeşim Dilek, Emel Emel, Melek Erdal, Koşha Hussain, Murat Deniz Karataş, Alaettin Sinayiç, Ender Cemgil, Delal Ak, Erem Kansoy, Murat Eric, Sevgi Kaymak, Phil Hatcher, Ferhat Şimşek, Ayşegül Erdoğan, Ferhat Kay, Genco Özkan, Sel Güzel, Gülser Çetin and Richard Henshall by exhibiting their masterpieces.
Donating the overall 1470.90 pound of income, the fair dedicated the amount to the Kardeş Aile Charity.
